Where it can save time
Canonical measurements and explicit deductions let teams update the schedule without reinterpreting values when display units change. Reproducible totals also make review faster than checking unexplained spreadsheet formulas.
Compliance and professional limits
The tool can record that a project is using RICS Property Measurement or another basis, but it does not determine the correct boundary, inclusion or classification rules. The measured geometry must follow the selected standard itself.
Professional boundary: The tool does not determine RICS, IPMS, BOMA, GIA, NIA or rentable-area boundaries; adopt and document the correct standard separately.
