1. Who we are

Architect Assets is the business name used for this service by Architect Assets. References to “Architect Assets”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean that operator.

2. Data we collect

Most information comes from you. We also receive payment status from Stripe, invitation details from team owners, information submitted through review links, and technical information from browsers and servers.

• Account data: name, email, password hash, profession, organization, preferences, team membership and plugin authorization records.
• Billing data: plan, subscription status, seat count, referral records and Stripe identifiers. Stripe receives payment-card details; Architect Assets does not.
• Content: saved tool data, projects, boards, notes, uploads, comments, reviewer details, decisions and sign-offs.
• Communications: support, feedback and business enquiries, including files or screenshots you attach.
• Technical data: IP address, user agent, session, request, error and security records.
• Analytics data: device, browser, approximate location, pages, referrer and interactions, but only after you consent to analytics cookies.

Some unsaved tool data may remain only in your browser. It is not sent to us unless you save or submit it.

3. How we use data

• To create accounts and provide tools, projects, teams, plugins and support.
• To process subscriptions, manage seats and apply referral rewards.
• To operate, secure and improve the service, prevent misuse and handle disputes.
• To store the project reviews and sign-off records that users create.
• To meet financial, legal and regulatory obligations.
• To send optional product updates and measure product use only when you consent.

Name, email and a password are required for an account, and subscription information is required for Pro. If you do not provide required information, we may be unable to provide that service. Other profile fields and marketing choices are optional.

We do not use your data to make solely automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects. Stripe may carry out its own payment and fraud checks.

4. Sharing and international transfers

• Stripe for payments, subscriptions and fraud prevention.
• Amazon Web Services for transactional email.
• Cloudflare for delivery, security and storage of uploaded project assets.
• Hosting, database, backup and support providers needed to operate the service.
• Google Analytics after you consent.
• Authorities or professional advisers where needed to meet a legal obligation, prevent fraud or handle a claim.

Team members can see their shared workspace. Anyone given an active review link, or a direct link to an uploaded asset, may see the content exposed by that link. We do not sell personal data.

Some providers may process data in other countries. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers. Contact us for information about the safeguard used for a particular provider.

5. How long we keep data

• Account and workspace data is kept while the account is open, unless you delete it sooner.
• After Pro ends, data remains available for download for two months. It is then removed from active access and retained in a restricted archive only while reasonably needed for recovery, disputes, security or legal obligations.
• Financial records are kept for the periods required by applicable tax and accounting laws.
• Verification, plugin, support, security and log records are kept only as long as needed for their purpose.
• Deleted data may remain in backups until the relevant backup is overwritten.

6. Your rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a copy of your data, or to object to certain uses. You may withdraw consent at any time and can always object to direct marketing.

Use You need to be logged in to see contact information. to exercise a right. We may need to verify your identity. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

7. Cookies, security and changes

Essential browser storage is used to operate the site. Optional analytics is used only after consent. See the Cookie Notice and use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, but no online service is completely secure. Keep account credentials, project review links and direct asset links confidential.

Architect Assets is not directed to children. We may update this notice when our processing changes and will bring significant changes to account holders’ attention.
