Terms of Use

These terms govern Architect Assets accounts, subscriptions, tools, textures, project workflows, uploads, exports and plugins.

Effective 2026-08-16

1. Provider and contact details

Architect Assets is the business name used for this service by Architect Assets. References to “Architect Assets”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean that operator.

Business contact Architect Assets You need to be logged in to see contact information.

2. When these terms apply

These terms apply when you browse or use the service, create an account, join a team, start a paid subscription, download an asset or use an Architect Assets plugin. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to act for it.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or buy a subscription. You accept these terms by selecting the acceptance checkbox when creating an account or joining a team. A Free contract begins when an account is created. A Pro contract begins when Stripe confirms the first successful subscription payment. The checkout page and payment confirmation form part of that contract.

3. Accounts and teams

Provide accurate information, keep credentials secure and tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless it results from our failure to protect the service.

Team owners buy and control seats, invitations and the shared workspace. Team members can access projects and project-connected records in that workspace. Do not invite anyone who should not have that access. When a team member is removed, ownership of their team projects and project-connected outputs transfers to the team owner; their standalone records remain with their account.

4. Free and Pro services

Free accounts provide the limits and watermarked or evaluation output shown on the signup page. Pro provides the paid capabilities shown at purchase, which may include project workflows, sign-off, clean or advanced exports, persistent uploaded assets and team features.

We may improve, replace or discontinue features and change Free limits. We will not materially reduce a paid service during its current billing period without a reasonable operational, security or legal reason. Features described as preview, planned or unvalidated are not part of the paid commitment.

5. Prices, payment and renewal

The price, currency, billing interval, seat quantity and any applicable tax are shown before you pay. Stripe processes card payments; we do not receive full card details.

Pro renews automatically at the monthly or annual interval selected at checkout until canceled. Team charges are based on the selected seat quantity. You authorize Stripe to collect each renewal payment using the saved payment method.

You can cancel through Manage billing in your Account. Cancellation stops the next renewal and takes effect at the end of the monthly or annual period already paid for. Access continues until that date. We do not provide a full or partial refund merely because you cancel or stop using the service. Payments are non-refundable except where a refund is required by applicable law.

We may change subscription prices by giving at least 30 days’ notice. A price change applies from the first renewal after the notice period; you may cancel before that renewal if you do not accept it.

We may suspend paid capabilities after a failed payment and will restore them when the subscription becomes active again. When Pro access ends, you have two months from the recorded access-end date to sign in and retrieve data and outputs you wish to keep. After that grace period, the former-Pro account is archived and removed from active access. Archived data is retained only as described in the Privacy Notice and is not a substitute for your own backups.

There is no numerical limit on genuine referrals. A new customer receives the discount shown at signup after using a valid code. After that customer’s first qualifying subscription payment succeeds, the referrer’s next subscription billing date is moved back by one month. This applies to monthly and annual subscriptions. Referral rewards have no cash value and do not create a refund. Fraud, self-referral, duplicate or invalid accounts, disputes, refunds, chargebacks and reversed payments may cause a discount or reward to be rejected, reversed or offset.

6. Consumer cancellation rights

If you buy Pro as a UK consumer, you normally have 14 days from the day after the contract is made to cancel without giving a reason. You can cancel through Manage billing in your Account. If you are also requesting a statutory refund, use the contact information below to send a clear statement before the cancellation period ends.

You need to be logged in to see contact information.

The no-refund rule in section 5 does not remove a mandatory statutory right. If a refund is required by law, it will be made without undue delay and normally within 14 days after we are told of the cancellation, using the original payment method. Nothing in these terms limits statutory cancellation, refund or quality rights.

If you buy wholly or mainly for your trade, business, craft or profession, you are a business customer and statutory consumer cancellation rights do not apply.

7. Texture and output licenses

Unless a different license is displayed, Architect Assets library textures, procedural presets and generated texture assets are protected content. A Free account lets you evaluate the service and its watermarked output, but does not grant a production-use license. There is no separate educational-use exception.

An active Pro subscription grants a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use Architect Assets texture assets lawfully downloaded while Pro is active as incidental parts of commercial or non-commercial drawings, models, visualizations and project documents. You may continue using those downloaded textures without further subscription fees after Pro expires or is canceled.

You may continue to use non-texture outputs lawfully created or downloaded while the relevant account entitlement was active, including schedules, reports, calculations, specifications and project records, in your own work and work for clients. You remain responsible for the professional checks in section 9.

You may not resell, republish, mass-download, scrape or distribute our assets as a competing library, stock asset, template pack or substantially unchanged standalone product. You may not use them to train a competing material or texture generation service. Ownership of the underlying Architect Assets content is not transferred.

Any third-party or manufacturer content with separate terms is governed by those terms where they differ.

8. Your content

You retain ownership of project information, calculations, notes, images and materials you upload. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to use them.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, transform, back up and transmit your content only as needed to provide, secure and support the service. Private uploads are not made public or added to the library without a separate, explicit agreement.

9. Technical tools and professional responsibility

Calculators, schedules, specifications, references and compliance screens are workflow aids. They are not architectural, engineering, legal, fire-safety, accessibility, energy, planning or other professional advice, certification or approval.

You remain responsible for checking inputs, assumptions, units, source material, current regulations, manufacturer data and project-specific requirements. Restricted or review labels identify known scope limits but do not make unlabeled material suitable for reliance without review.

Digital materials and colors can differ from physical products and screens. Check texture dimensions, geometry, maps and exported files before specification, procurement, fabrication or construction.

10. Projects, links and sign-off

Project boards can preserve review records, reviewer identity and the content presented at sign-off. A sign-off records the reviewer’s stated decision; it does not prove authority, replace a contract procedure or create a professional certification.

Review links act as access credentials. Keep them secure and stop using or replace them if disclosed to the wrong person. Project owners are responsible for identifying suitable reviewers and explaining the decision requested.

11. Plugins and exported files

Architect Assets plugins are free account-linked conveniences for using the website workflow in supported host applications. A plugin may require you to authorize and periodically re-authorize your Architect Assets account. Never enter your Architect Assets password directly into a plugin dialog unless the website documentation expressly identifies that sign-in method.

Plugins are supplied “as is” without a guarantee of availability, compatibility or fitness for a particular project. The Architect Assets website is the primary service and fallback. Plugin and native-file support applies only to host versions and operating systems identified as supported. Technical previews are not compatibility promises. Back up project files and test imported scale, units, maps, patterns and save/reopen behavior before production use.

Host applications, file formats and third-party APIs may change independently of Architect Assets. We do not promise compatibility outside a published supported configuration.

12. Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the service, bypass technical or account limits, access another person’s data, probe for vulnerabilities without written permission, automate mass retrieval, upload malicious or unlawful content, or use the service to infringe another person’s rights.

We may rate-limit, suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, third parties or legal compliance. Where practical, we will explain the reason and allow a reasonable opportunity to export user-owned data.

13. Intellectual property and feedback

Except for your content and separately identified third-party material, all rights in the service, software, interface, branding, documentation, presets and library content belong to us or our licensors.

If you send suggestions or feedback, we may use them to improve Architect Assets without payment or restriction, but this does not transfer ownership of any confidential project material you include.

14. Closing an account

You may ask us to close your account using the contact information below. Cancel a paid subscription first to prevent further renewal. Before closure, export anything you need and resolve ownership of team projects. Some financial, contract, security and backup records may be retained as explained in the Privacy Notice.

You need to be logged in to see contact information.

Separately, a former-Pro account is automatically archived after the two-month retrieval period described in section 5. Archiving soft-deletes the account from active use while related data is held in restricted storage pending the retention and deletion process described in the Privacy Notice.

15. Service standard and liability

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill but do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every output will meet a particular project requirement. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Consumers

If you are a consumer, we are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for business losses or losses that were not reasonably foreseeable. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

Business customers

If you use the service for business purposes, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, opportunity or anticipated savings, or losses caused by relying on an output without the professional checks described above. Subject to liabilities that cannot be limited, our aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the subscription fees paid by you in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

16. Changes, complaints and governing law

We may update these terms for legal, security or product reasons. Material changes will be brought to account holders’ attention before they apply to continuing paid use.

Send questions or complaints using You need to be logged in to see contact information.. We will try to resolve complaints directly.
