Architect Assets for Revit
Bring scaled Architect Assets materials and appearance maps into a Revit project.
First workflow
Import an extracted package through a pyRevit command, creating or updating a material by stable asset identity.
Before importing
- Install this host preview using the included
INSTALL.md. - Run an Architect Assets command and approve the account connection in your browser. Your password is never entered into the plugin.
- In the Texture Editor, choose Plugin Material Package as the export format.
- Download and extract the ZIP. Keep its manifest, recipe and maps folder together.
- Import the extracted
manifest.json.
Acceptance check
- The plugin installs and unloads without warnings.
- Browser sign-in, token reuse, expiry and Account-page disconnection behave as expected.
- The imported native resource uses the package's complete repeat width and height.
- The v2 recipe and all six maps pass integrity checks; supported host channels resolve after moving the project.
- The imported surface uses the package's independent physical relief rather than deriving depth from image resolution.
- Re-import updates the intended resource rather than creating uncontrolled duplicates.
- The resource survives save, close and reopen.
Requires pyRevit and Revit host acceptance before production use.
